About the Journal
The MERIT Journal of Technical and Vocational Studies (MJTVS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to research and scholarly work in technical and vocational education and training (TVET). The journal aims to support the development of high-quality technical and vocational education by disseminating research, best practices, and policy-relevant studies.
MJTVS covers a broad range of topics including technical education, vocational training, curriculum development, competency-based education, apprenticeship systems, industry–institution collaboration, assessment and certification, and TVET policy and governance. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, educators, trainers, and industry professionals engaged in technical and vocational fields.
The journal publishes articles in English and Bahasa Melayu and follows an open access publishing model under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) licence.
